I am a mom to amazing twin girls, a wife, and I work full time. I battled infertility for 2 years and over the course of treatments, a twin pregnancy, and raising twins I managed to gain about 80 lbs. I’ve lost about 50 lbs so far and would like to lose another 50 in my quest to become a hot mama.

3dp6dt

Having some mild uterine cramps today.  They only last a few seconds then go away.  They kind of feel like AF cramps.  No spotting.  I was hoping for some to put my mind at ease that my little embies are burrrowing in and making their home for the next 9 months.  No such luck.

Today I've gone back and forth from "This is it" to "not a chance in hell I am pregnant."  Has anyone else experienced this during an IVF cycle?

  1. Yes, I definitely went back and forth, finally settling on "no way" because I'm such a pessimist! =) But the cramps you're describing were like what I had, too. And then they got worse and worse til it felt EXACTLY like AF. So I think this is a great sign!

  3. You bet we all did!

Your cramps sound like implantation, especially if they are on the side, rather than right down the middle.

  6. Sounds like a great sign!!! (I think I goofed with my comment yesterday...I had implantation cramps at 3pd5dt...not 8dp5dt...I was confusing it with 8dp Ovulation.)

Cramps today seem PERFECT!! STAY POSITIVE!!! :)

  7. Have I experienced whip-lashing emotions causing me to feel 100% certain I'm pregnant and then convinced that not only am I not but that I never will be? YES YES YES!!! It's quite normal and enough to cause you to seek mental health care. It sounds like you're in great shape. I definitely felt just like I was about to start my period and I had no implantaion bleeding, so all good signs. This is it! I keep telling you! =)

  8. Thanks ladies! Trying not to read into it since the cramps have been really brief... I mean they last for 2-3 seconds and then go away.

  11. I had similar cramping with this cycle. I hope it is a good sign for you. Oh yeah, and 7dp3dt was when I got BfaintPs with my first two IVF cycles. Not to encourage POASing or anything...

  12. I had somekind of AF cramps, and was then pregnant, just like the cramps were starting.
And then sometimes severe AF cramps.

I wouldn´t worry about cramps, they can be a good thing.
