I am a mom to amazing twin girls, a wife, and I work full time. I battled infertility for 2 years and over the course of treatments, a twin pregnancy, and raising twins I managed to gain about 80 lbs. I’ve lost about 50 lbs so far and would like to lose another 50 in my quest to become a hot mama.

Week 1 of bedrest

Today begins my first full week of bed rest.  Thank god my job is letting me continue to work while I am out on bed rest (or I might seriously go crazy!).  This weekend was filled with lots of contractions so hopefully being flat on my back will help curtail some of those.  I am erring on the conservative side with the bed rest, so I am trying to remain as flat as possible while I work.

Here is my new fancy shmacny office.... Pardon my double chin.  I am looking particularly puffy these days!

This weekend was the last of our baby showers.  My family from Florida flew up for it and hosted it.  It was so wonderful and seeing my family was amazing.  I will post all about it as soon as I upload the photos!

Now back to crossing my legs tight and praying I can make it to 36 weeks.

    lots of prayers for you, randy, and the babies!! usually i can't wait to see new babies, but these babies need to stay cooking!! I am happy to wait

    Oh look at you all organised!!! I am so happy your work is letting you carrying on from home and they don't count it as maternity leave already!! they sound brilliant to me!
