Yesterday I ordered their first birthday cards. It made me a little teary eyed to think that they are almost 1 year old already. Where has the time gone. I used to have two tiny little babies that I could lay down and know they would be exactly where I left them. Now.....I have one that is crawling like it's her job, pulling herself up, and walking around furniture and on occasion forgetting she can't actually walk and letting go of the furniture in an attempt to move to another piece of furniture. The other barrel rolls across the floor and screams in a frequency that dogs 10 miles away can hear to make everyone look at her.
They interact with each other. They will poke each other in the belly and laugh or give each other big gummy licks on the face which they think is hilarious. They love the pool. I mean LOVE the pool. We can dunk them underwater and they don't even flinch. They eat solid foods. They seem to not want baby food anymore but will eat the hell out of some pasta salad and shredded meats. Stella can hold her own bottle and doesn't even want to let me hold it anymore and Harper has figured out that being lazy pays and mom will hold her bottle.
They are like legit little humans. Seriously. When did this happen!!!!!
The birthday invites are great! What cute pics!
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute, Happy Birthday to 2 little angels.
ReplyDeleteOH Soooo cute! Ours turned one last Friday. It was crazy, I tell ya!
ReplyDeleteWe have one that is pulling up on everything and cruising, and one who just started pulling up yesterday. Ours are starting to do a lot of playing together instead of right next to one another. They laugh at one another a lot! We are working on the solid foods...
We are also working hard on the sippy! Mine both want to hold the bottle, but don't always get that it has to be tipped up. Addison will take a few ounces from the sippy, but that's about it. Lauren just about refuses the sippy... so frustrating.
Your girls are ADORABLE! Are you doing a smash cake? That was a riot!
I'm feeling the same way. We're doing a smaller family party so no "official" invites, but it's still hitting me that my Little One has gone from being a blob of a baby to a little person in such a short time.
