I was waiting to post my 7dp6dt blog becuase I got a little surprise this morning. I woke up this morning, thought "what the hell" and decided to pee on one of the 2 sticks I had left. My thought was, at least then I'd only have 1 left for beta day. Well after a shower I went to throw the stick away...because I just "knew" I wasn't pregnant. I did a double take a low and behold.......
I seriously can't believe it. I finally got to see the elusive unicorn...a positive HPT!
I called the clinic and they said I could come in for a beta today....
Today's beta- 70!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you god!!!!!!!!!!!

You must be freaking out right now! OK, so if you're anything like me, you think that that first beta must have been some cruel joke and you've already moved on to praying about beta #2. I didn't do this, but I wish I had so my advice is take time to sit in this beautiful place called pregnant! Cause you ARE girl!!!!! And I know that beta #2 is going to be at least 175! =)

ReplyDeleteWOW, congratulations!! It's so encouraging to find women on here who actually get pregnant! You must be thrilled!!
ReplyDeleteWhat does 7dp6dt mean? I'm not quite at the IVF level yet -- I've been doing injectibles, etc. Should I know what this means? And should I have been having beta tests throughout my cycle?
This is why I love ICLW! I always learn so much!
Thanks everyone!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question Blondie-7dp6dt means 7 days post 6 day transfer. And that just means I got a positive 7 days after my blastocysts made it to day 6 and they put them back inside of me.
Congratulations... I've been following your blog for a few weeks and am so excited for you. I've been holding my breath each day as I checked back as I too know about the disappointments, frustrations and surprising results when you least expect it. Enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!
